Review the of Functioning of Donor Coordination Forum on HIV and AIDS

Matthew was commissioned by the National Department of Health’s Donor Coordination Forum (DCF) to undertake a review of the role and functions of the forum. The review included making recommendations regarding the existing structure and operations to ensure the forum becomes more effective in achieving its objectives. The study began in October 2006 and concluded with a presentation of proposed changes to the DCF at its first meeting of 2007.

The purpose of the review was to identify key issues and constraints; develop options for revising the DCF and the establishment of a new mechanism for ensuring effective coordination in the Social Cluster with regards to HIV and AIDS.
