Management review of the Anglican church of southern Africa HIV and AIDS office

The Anglican Church of Southern Africa (ACSA) HIV and AIDS Office commissioned Matthew to undertake a management review of the Office. The review included making recommendations regarding the existing structure and operations to ensure the Office becomes more effective in achieving its objectives. This rapid review was conducted over approximately 3 weeks, beginning on 5th March and concluding on 30th March.

The specific aims of the due diligence review were to assist the ACSA HIV & AIDS Office to optimise the management of its operations; and satisfy the funder, the Department for International Development (DfID) that the ACSA HIV & AIDS Office has adequate management systems and controls place to manage large-scale funding for the Siyakha programme. A programme aimed at halting the spread of HIV and to provide care to those already touched by it across the region
